hi again.......I am wondering if this setup will work.I have one big table holding everything about products, index.php will be populated from this table, users will search this table and companies will add and edit this table as well. if I break up table ,one for searches and one for companie , obviously linked by id, will that be better? or??

using several tables reduces size overhead, reduces redundant data being stored, and increases the efficiency of indexes.
Monolithic tables are unweildy to search and become fragmented and more inefficient over time.
