Hello.
I am currently working on a homepage for an organisation. My question is about databases.
If you look at this webpage: (notice how the news are organised) Random webage
I’m wondering how to make a news layout similar to that one. With that I mean if I write an article, then the database will automatically add the date, put the novelty as the first article on the page, and the other articles will be transferred down.
I want it to be about 6-8 articles on the page, and the articles numbered 9,10,11 etc. will go directly into the archive.

I hope what I wrote made sense, if not tell me here, and I will try to refrase it.
If anybody understood this, and know something about it, please answer.

Hi, if you use mysql and php to make your website, you can edit your sql statement to have an order by clause (to bring in more modern articles eg ORDER BY date_field desc). You can also use the limit clause to specify how many records are brought in.
