its my first time for using mssql server 2005, i want to make synchronization between mssql and mysql so i used a program named : DBsync for MSSQL and MYSQL 3.3.0
my problem is when connecting on mssql database it shows me an error:
[DBNETLIB]{ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
so there is a problem in one of the following:
host, connection type,port
i want to know how to detect them from mysql 2005 server properties to be sure that they are true???

i.e: i want to be sure of host , connection type and port

You are using windows authenication. Hence, please leave blank in a username field and have a try.

are you able to connect the database with the admin user ..
