Staggered import of large and very large MySQL Dumps (like phpMyAdmin 2.x Dumps) even through the web servers with hard runtime limit and those in safe mode. The script executes only a small part of the huge dump and restarts itself. The next session starts where the last was stopped.
Why couldn't you have posted this before the weekend? Guess what I spent the weekend doing? Yep trying to import some large sql files via phpmyadmin. I ended up breaking some of the files into smaller files and using the command line for the files I didn't want to break.
Thanks for the link. Looks helpful.

Sorry, lol. I never even thought about posting it here until the time I did.
I had to find something since I was reaching maximum execution time provided by my server via phpmyadmin importing my wordpress arcade database (which has quite handful of queries to perform), and found this tool on google search.
Import was pretty much instant with this wonderful, none of this waiting 5 minutes only to have it error out. :P
If you directly try to restore the database from the SQL file using the mysql command prompt, you should be fine with completing the restore/backup process, provided that mysql service does not restart in between.
