need to improve the performance of open connection of the informix DataBase
because it very turtle(slow),please.

Optimise your queries??
Reduce the number of queries required/used?
Improve the data indexing?
Use faster hardware?

And probably several other guesses could be made. Some could be spot on, most will be useless.

the queries is improved but when i start debuger of .net and try to follow step by step
in F11 key, i see compiler take long time to open connection ..see line code below:
conn.open();//this line take long time to execute by compiler

And "a long time" would be?

Local or Remote server?
Connection string?
ADODB?
DAO?
ODBC?

etc etc.

i find JCC rather than JDBC ,,,if there is some like this in .net ..plz help me.
