I WANT TO KNOW WHICH IS THE BEST DATABASE?
IS IT SQL, ORACLE, or DB2?

i prefer sql / mysql.

They all have their own advantages.

There's no best database, choose the right database for your need. If you're running a small desktop app, SQLite might be a good candidate. If however, you are running a personal blog (as many of do) then check out MySQL.

That said, enterprise always prefer Oracle because of the name behind it and the paid support they'd get.

Now have a think and see where you fit in.

YAY support! so when we get problems ( that seem to ALWAYS happen ) you get support.

I HATE oracle.

are database SERVERS

I think SQL is one the best amongst all.

we prefer to mysql data base is best.

There are so many databases in the world. Does anybody know how many there are just in the USA?

in web development mysql get preference over oracle

I can't wait for the day when enterprise level sites start using MySQL over Oracle and PHP or ROR over JSP or ASP.net. Can you imagine, a bank site with .php extensions in the query strings

Its depend on your requirements. but i prefer SQL

the best DBMS for me is Oracle, i hope to be an expert in oracle
i want to work as DBA..
but the problem i did not find a good environment to learn this

SQL for sure. I find it hard though.

I prefer SQL Server.

Of course, Oracle is the best database.

Oracle No doubt about it..it best as always..

Sorry, there's no database out there called SQL. Unless you meant to say SQL Server, in that case use the correct name.
