Hi all i m planning to do oracle 10g certification it is good for my carrer i m starting my carrer if not sugest me the other path.

You do know that the current version of Oracle is 11g since it's release in 2007 and version 12 is on it's way.

Yes i reckon you do the 11g OCA. Coz it has a whole lot of new features. I have done the 10g OCA and currently following OCP 10g. I wanted to do 11g but in our country still the certification has not been released by Oracle.

Yes Oracle is a very good carrier path. I did my degree in Software engineering and now have diverted my path into Oracle. Trust me you will not regret getting into this path. Try registering on OTN discussion.

11g is current now a days so according to me do not update 10g direct jump on 11g it is effect and you get nicely job.
