i bought a xml file from someone and it is from another wordpress site.
it seems like it can't be uploaded to my wordpress, how can i do it?
it prompt me an error like

File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

what does this mean?

I think in this case there are two possibilities:

1. The XML file is too small.
2. The XML file is too big.

The parameters are set in the PHP and you need to edit those parameters to allow any size. If the XML file is indeed too small, maybe the file is empty after all? Are you sure you did not get duped?

my file is just aabout 5mb.
i can see that my upload_max_filesize in php.ini is 50MB. but it seems not working.. i even install almost all importer..

any solutions?
