i bet you guys have had this question a lot, but i couldn't find the answer in previous threads

coinstore1.net84.net/

i cannot find the php.ini file to edit the

;extension=php_mysql.dll

and remove the ;

to allow for the mysql extension

well part of my question is which file i put the password and username into, my userguide says the php.ini file, but i cannot find it, so i am thiking it is an admin file

Would be odd to put it in that file..

Normally your DB info would go inside some kind of config.php file inside the directory of the script your using. Or a /config/config.php file.

What OS are you using?
If linux, Try the command, locate php.ini
to find it.

Infact,

Maybe check the file:
/home/a4675042/public_html/includes/database/mysql.php

for some info on your DB variables.

i think i am in wayyy over my head, i will try a couple things you mentioned

unless someone wants to just install the basic script for me. it seems very easy, i am just too novice with database, mysql, apache etc

Your webserver is what you use to serve webpages ( apache ) is the webserver.
Your FTP server is the server / service that you connect to , to upload files.
Like ( vsftpd )
