I am attempting to make a new connection to an mysql database previously set up at my hosting provider (domain.com).
I set up Site , Document Type, and Testing Server (ftp.domain.com) all is good.
when i attempt to make a new connection to to a data base on domain.com I fill in the fields and hit the select button it spits out a error dialog (an unidentified error has occurred).
next is displayed a 404- file not found error possible reasons are:
1. there is no testing server running on the target system.
2. the testing server specified for this site does not map to the h URL. verify that the URL maps to the root of the site.
anyone seen this ...ideas? thanks in advance.
