hi to all, i am uploaded one site , and place the database in the db folder, all site is working fine , but only there is problem of update query, there is error on that pages where the update query call and the error is

Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

i have tested that site on local host, its working fine, all thing working fine, and also i check that the database access properties its not read only, then what the main problem is?

Check to make sure that your "db" folder has write permissions assigned to it.

As Dylan said, check the db folder permissions to make sure it's writable. Also check the permission on the .mdb file to make sure that is writable as well.
