choose the os u r using and dl and continue with the instructions.. this program has very nice features lile its own database (mysql) apache server and easy to use command center.. if u follow the instructions, no problem will occur.. it also includes phpmyadmin. gl

You don't need xampp, that's if you are tyring to setup a server.

your sql button in cPanel is what you use to create databases, create database users, and to give the users permission on the databases.

You will then use phpMyAdmin (also in cPanel, look at the bottom of the sql page) to create your tables/columns and excute SQL statements.

Don't worry about PostgresSql, you should only be concerned with mySql at this piont.

We have some video tutorials to help our customers with using cPanel to set things up. We use rvSkin so our version of cPanel is customized, but the concepts are still the same.

Look at tutorials #12 and #14

You will need to go into your mySql section of cPanel, on the bottom of the screen you should see a text link to phpMyAdmin.
