I recall that there was a maximum number of statements there can be in a where clause, but I just can't find the number anywhere. This made me to think that maybe my memory's failing on me with this, so I'd appreciate it greatly if somebody could either confirm or deny this.

i dont think there is a limit, unless you specify with LIMIT

I'm not aware of a maximum number of statements you can use in a WHERE clause either though I've never really had need to use more than three or four at most.

I dont believe there is one.
