HI there, I am using an Access database which worked fine. Recently i discovered that when I was using an update form to update customer details, it would call the country information as "1" rather than "Australia". It was doing this because the table properties were set to numeric rather than text. Recently I went in and changed the properties to text. Now that I have done so the error message, "Type Mismatch" error would show its self. So I changed the relationships to match text-text files so that there would be no error.
Now I find that there is no errors, but the query returns no results. I have included my SQL below. Please help.
SELECT tblSpecies.TimberSpecies, tblCategories.CategoryTitle, tblSuppliers.SupplierName, tblSuppliers.ContactName, tblSuppliers.StreetAddress, tblSuppliers.Suburb, tblLocation.Location, tblSuppliers.PostCode, tblCountry.Country, tblSuppliers.PhoneNumber, tblSuppliers.Facsimile, tblSuppliers.EmailAddress, tblSuppliers.WebsiteAddress, tblSuppliers.Image, tblSuppliers.ShortDescription, tblSuppliers.Description, tblSuppliers.idSupplier, tblSuppliers.fHits, tblSuppliers.BusinessType
FROM ((tblCategories INNER JOIN tblResults ON tblCategories.CategoryTitle = tblResults.idCategory) INNER JOIN tblSpecies ON tblResults.idSpecies = tblSpecies.TimberSpecies) INNER JOIN (tblLocation INNER JOIN (tblCountry INNER JOIN tblSuppliers ON tblCountry.Country = tblSuppliers.idCountry) ON tblLocation.Location = tblSuppliers.idLocation) ON tblResults.idSupplier = tblSuppliers.SupplierName;
Ask anything..
Mally.
