Ok abit dramatic i know but i'm having the recurring problem with my views.
I create a view using:
create view blah with encryption. ( and the rest)
And hey presto i get a view thats encrypted so you cant see the sql thats used to create and thus a password. Now these views may work fine for a while but i've had one today thats been working for months and with out alterig the data or the view its stopped working.
when i tried to add a different user to the permissions screen it hung enterprise manager. On a reload of enterprise manager the view doesnt work and i cant alter it, drop it, or view it with out it hanging the system.
Any ideas why? or at the least how to drop it?
