I want to create a database with 10 tables . But only 5 of these tables have relation with each other and the rest 5 doesn't have relation with any other table. So my question is; can i put all these tables in one database together. because when i try, i have an error which tells me that some of the tables are not related. and also can i make relation in any type of database in mysql. because i also had a warning that my tables are not innodb type.

Yea course you can.

While it may be good practice to get your DB up to speed you need not loose sleep over it. These things are designed to just deliver (which they do pretty good without normalisation).

I have over 70 tables in one of my sites and while many tables are related many have nothing in common with others (buut that does not mean they dont get used).

So yes put em all in the same DB.

Only INNODB type MSQL Databases support relations. So you have to make all your tables INNODB to support relations.
