i need to make a most viewed option for my website where on the main page is displays 10 -15 of the most viewed pages, for this to happen would i need to create a mysql database and then run a query from that to get the results

i dont really want to be doing this and was wondering if there is any other way, Thanks

Yep, but it would be far more complex if you had more than 15 - 20 pages or the site was relatively busy.

You have to maintain statistics so you have to progarm. You can either use DB to store values or you can use XML file as a data source.
