I recently bought a shared hosting plan from godaddy because I ran out of room on my pandela site. I did a database backup of my pandela site and then tried importing it on the new godaddy database. There was a 2,000k limit for importing files on the gadaddy server, but unfortunatly my database file was around 10mb. After calling godaddy 3 times, I finally got a better answer than "You'll have to purchase a dedicated server", which I can't afford. I was told to upload the sql file to my server, and I did, but when they tried importing it, it gave them syntax errors and now I don't know what to do.

Maybe you could do another backup export and only export selected tables. In other words break the database into smaller chunks by tables.

Then you can import the smaller chunks one at a time.

Poor wording on my part. If you don't follow post back.

Try first creating a backup of an existing DB - then replace the file of this backup (that you can get to via an FTP client) with your DB dump. Then "restore" the backup.
