Hey everyone,
I'm new to access databases...
I know they arent the best to use...but its a client req. So anyway, is there any way to download the actual database in a manner that will let you see its data? Currently, I have programmed a page to view the db's entries, however if I download the actual .mdb file and open it, I can't see anything in it. Is this normal?
Thanks alot,
Alex

If you have access on your computer you should be able to view the file.

I do have it. If you want me to take a look at a short sample file just PM me.

Yeah, I have access on my computer too. When I download the file and open it, there is no information when I view the database. I double click the table and it shows the fields I have set up, but no values.

Did you create the database? Sometimes you may or may not have permissions to view the files.

Is there more than one database? Sometimes if you download the wrong one....

you get the idea.

Also check your coding(query actions), the information may not be appending to the table.

What program are you using to develop/design your application? (other than access)
