Basically i'm getting the error "1129" saying there are too many connections to my mysql database server. And this happend 'after' I installed the forum system phpbb. However, I really don't understand how or why this could have happend?

Is error code 1129 non fixable on the client side? According to the mysql site, its a bug.

Any thoughts?

are the versions of MySQL and PHPBB compatible ??
are the username and passwords correct ??

and have you unblocked the hostname ?

mysqladmin flush-hosts from a shell session (if you have shell access)

Yes to all.

But I got it resolved. I just used there other I.P. my host has setup, and it works fine.
