basically.... we need a secure site... where ppl can log in, and write an email and it will be stored there. so that when the managers log on they can read it and then send it out as an email to our customer.

First things first, be a bit more detailed in what you want this script to do exactly. Write out steps, for example, Step 1: user enters in contect on form.

Also a brief reminder, encrypt all email address information in your database, its essential for privacy reasons.

i think i know what ur on about is it like a email message getting sent to a managers then the mangers sends it to the customer contact list

yeah spot on.
basically a user signs in and submits a few simple text forms which are stored on the server,
so we sign into a seperate section eg a secure management area to retreive the data.
My expertise are way over this as i am unsure about secure log-ins

its way more than simple cgi form scripts, i just dont know where to start

why not set a smtp

sorry to sound dim but how do i go out that and what does it do? i have no real experience with all this.
