Google updated again not too long ago, so today I was checking if anything changed for me. Sure enough, I now have even more backlinks then I already had.

Anyways, I also found 'icyhost.com/~twisted' had a pageround of 2, but that's not my site. IcyHost is my site, and the page is viewable from that URL, but my site is at http://www.twistedportal.com

Is the subdomain url hurting my domain's PR? Or does it not matter that that is there? Sorry if my question seems weird, I don't quite understand what I'm asking myself.

I don't think it's hurting your PR unles your linked to it in some sort of way.

Oh I'm sorry, I must have been out of it when I posted that. I did mean pagerank, yes.

About the pagerank, that's what I thought but I just want to make sure. I don't know why Google would have it anyway? No one goes to that URL cause no one knows about it.

Although, I did have the forum www set to it at one point. (http://icyhost.com/~twisted/forum/)

Adding a link pointing to the site will help regardless of PR.

A link is a link, don't get caught up in the PR hype.

Put on your PR blinders when you're linking and you'll have a much easier, and more successful, linking campaign.
