Just wondering if anyone could tell me why google hasnt indexed me yet, I have started a movie forum (www.moviecommunities.com) which is now 2 1/2 months old, and was wondering how long it takes to get indexed?
Google gets me about 300 visits a day and was wondering how to raise this.

Hi Henry,

By definition, if you are getting organic search traffic from Google, you are indexed. Do you mean why aren't you ranking more highly for some search terms?

EDIT: also, doing site:yoursite.com shows that your pages are in Google's index.

you probably mean that your site is not ranking on a particula keyword. well, better do some SEOs on it.

You're not landing on the first page because the competition is insane.

Agreed. Unless you have substantial financial backing, you aren't going to get on the first page for such a competitive industry. Find a niche such as a certain genre of movies (action, thriller or something) and adjust to this. It might seem like giving in, but you really don't stand that much of a chance sadly.

Why not build a site not just a forum. The aount of content that you have to write about is endless that yes achieving minimal 3 pages of quality work per day is achievable thsu giving you more keywords and ultimately more traffic.

if you want more traffic than content is the way to go. Use your htags and your on your way.

What's wrong man! I have seen your site's not only home page but also a lot of other pages are indexed....have you checked it through entering..

You're site's been indexed. Just remove the http:// and the .com and enter your domain in Google and you'll see you're there. You're also showing 200+ backlinks.

I would make one suggestion though, you're sites title is pretty SEO unfriendly, I'd concentrate on on particular keyword or phrase and stick with it.

You really think that you'll be ranked on the first page for a query like "movie forum"? This is an extremely competitive industry and each site is doing their own SEO on their site continuously.

It is far better to find a nice such as action movies or thrillers or something - at least that way you have a chance at ranking somewhere on Google that will get you some visitors.

If you have found any result by doing this: site:http://domain_bame, then probably your site was indexed.

your site is well indexed by google just check the indexing by
site:www.yoursitename.extension

9000 visits a month just from google. And it's a new site. Well maybe he's mistaken about that. Good luck just keeping that number up.

Keep posting new content in your site and submit directory for your site. it will be indexed soon.

You have around 2000 page in less than 3 months
By time it will increase

Try to get some cached backlinks.Ur site is get indexed very soon

Yes, I agree. It is difficult to get on the first page even your PR is high.

If you want to increase your ranking in google and all other major search engines, then you have to do some efforts in link building. Link building will help you increase your pr and search engine ranking. Isuggest you to do Article maeketing and social bookmarking to increase your visits from google, yahoo and all major search engines.
