Wow haven't seen that before. Just Googled it myself and it doesn't seem like it's secret news or anything, but I hadn't heard of that

Sometimes, living in Europe seems just unattractive.
That look s like a service full of promise.

But I wonder if you will not end up receiving adsense ads via mms after some time...

Just seen it earlier on one of our laptops on Googles home page, but it's not on any of the other workstations.

So it must be on a staggered roll out. Looks interesting (if you're a murcan )

Lol tut tut.... All those Bushisms can get to you, you know? They say he may be suffering from presenile dementia.....

Sometimes, I feel like that myself - I forget really basic things and the words for them. Is it something in the water? (Perhaps illegally buried asbestos in our field has something to do with this...)

Actually WhyM it's the lead paint on all those Chinese toys. When we were kids they didn't have the sophisticated checking systems they do now. Back then it was just scratch and sniff...

Well, I have tried it 3 times now, and the first time I thought it was a joke. Why? Because I got a funny recording with frantic operators in the background, and a voice saying (in a cheesy radio personality tone) something like "Thank you for calling Goog 411...we're sorry, but all of our operators are very busy at the moment...please call again later". I called again so my wife could hear it, but it was working as it should and she thought I was nuts (which after 13 years being married, this has never changed).

But here is my theory. I heard that Google is going to start television advertisements (not like they have to). Now they can gather localized information on what people are looking for accross the nation (aside from the internet searches). This information will allow Google to target there commercials to the specific areas accross the US, and even open the window for local ads as a result...on either TV or Google's local search. What do you think? All I know is, Google having the power to know what exactly people want (including those who do not use the Google search, or who do not use the internet like the majority of the elderly, etc.) is a powerful thing.

Haha. I wonder if they actually came up with that idea, or if they just bought the idea from somebody like they always do...
