Okay, I am new to the webmaster world and there is something that I do not understand. My site has been up and running for about 7 to 8 months and I still have no page rank. I am getting anywhere from 200-400 visitors a day and I have about 240 backlinks. My content is not duplicated content and I am indexed with google. I do not understand why I do not have a page rank yet. Can someone please explain this to me? My website is http://www.cdltruckstop.com Thank you so much
Google uses many different methods (possibly over 100) to rank a site, with PageRank being only one. If you are getting lots of visitors, then it's even more stupid. Don't bother thinking about it! Concentrate on working for your visitors and improving content etc., rather than worrying about a meaningless number between 1 and 10
1. Try to identify the best keywords and improvise the content for those words.
2. Write more information about how to use your service
3. Write guidelines about navigating your site
4. Write something which is special in your site
5. Always keep the site up to date.

Thorough testing has shown that in order to get PageRank one must do the Naked Google Dance and refresh the page without using any fingers. If you're a lady you can maybe use your toes?
If that doesn't work out, there's a fellow named ADAM who sells PageRank green pens for $99 Canadian. As long as you don't draw outside the lines you can have any PageRank you want.
It's actually more important to have Pigeon Rank. But harder to check.
Actually, the new PageRank Pens allow for drawing outside of the lines. You can color halfway up your computer wall if you want that much PageRank.
Prissi De: if you're getting visitors from search engines, and your site is growing, PageRank is pretty well meaningless. Toolbar PageRank is an external indicator provided by Google, and is updated infrequently at best.
lol wow the pagerank pens. mine have all dryed up, i am now working on a page rank visor next generation pagerank technology, that you wear while at the pc, with an adjustable green line across the eye area, so you can line it up with ur google toolbar on the screen. Et viola

If the SEO is good enough to take your money they should already have all the links they need and not ask you to place them on your site. Also, if you're giving money for payment, you shouldn't have to also give a link for payment.
not another person who is so eager to have a pagerank. there is no PR update yet. if you really need to have a PR and can't wait of the update, better follow the suggestions posted above.

PageRank is also depended on types of visitor means how many unique visitor you have?? and how much time were they stay on your site?? So try to increase unique visitor.

start scattering green foliage all over your site and that will then effect your

Well, Focus on getting higher rankings and not PR because rankinfg is more important than PR or anything in SEO for success of a website, if you have better rankings and getting good traffic then PR becomes useless...
