you will have to excuse me because I'm a noob when it comes to SEO and I don't know the terminology so bare with me and fill free to redorect me, give me terms, or tell me I'm looking at things up side down.

Google Search:
From what I understand google sees your web page in a text type format. That being the case when looking at my site threw google cache I clicked to see it in text form to get a idea of what google is seeing. (is there a term for the text like page google sees?)

My Site:
I started out my site with everything typed out like normal then when I started getting more stuff I realized hey I could save time by making a iFrame for the navigation links of my site then just put the iFrame on every page so I only have to change links once.

My Problem:
After changing everything over to iFrames once google updated there cache I got less google trafic so I looked at my site's cache on google then looked at the text version and it showed the site as having no links being because it didn't load the iFrame. I think this is why I get almost no hits from google when I used to get some.

I changed my main page to not have the I frame but I'm thinking when my site has like 25 pages I don't want to have to add a link to 25 pages every time I make a new page. Is there a way to add links easier and still get google to pick it up on the all text page?

I have what I think to be a template for my site LOL but that is copy and pasting every page with a pre made tempate. Im guessing this isn't what a true "template" is though.

any links you can give me on layering and templates? sorry I'm probably asking the basic of basics right now.

thanks for your help

You will find the answer in DreamWeaver.
Very easy to understand and learn how to use it

Google sees the iframe src, and it sounds like this is all pointing to the same - one - page. The number of links to any page is part of what determines its "value;" when the number of internal links falls from 25 to 1, most search engines assume the pages they know about are less important to your site.

Hello
take a look at my site
iframe it is on several pages
i use an update.htm to feed it
i only have to edit one html page to change several hundred pages
view source
google seems to count every click
let me know what you think
I am hosting the domain on a personal pc no server
broadcasting live music streams 24/7 video also
do you think that might have something to do with it

Yep, it's called content!

IFrames are exactly like full frames, in that the search engines index the page in the frame/iframe as a seperate entity, so all your pages when indexed by the SEs have no navigation to the rest of the site and because links are the way SEs find their way around and use them to give "importance" to pages, you now only have 1 link from 1 page pointing to your inner pages.

Yep Server Side Includes (SSI) or scripted includes is the best way

Interesting It looks like you have this for your iFrames
Code:
<script type="text/javascript">

/***********************************************
* IFRAME Scroller script- © Dynamic Drive DHTML code library (www.dynamicdrive.com)
* This notice MUST stay intact for legal use
* Visit Dynamic Drive at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ for full source code
***********************************************/

//specify path to your external page:
var iframesrc="external.htm"

//You may change most attributes of iframe tag below, such as width and height:
document.write('<iframe id="datamain" src="'+iframesrc+'" width="390px" height="350px" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" hspace="0" vspace="0" frameborder="1" scrolling="no"></iframe>')

</script>
I just have a simple one line iFrame caller. I'll have to try that code on one of my pages it looks like google is picking your stuff up.

Likes:
1. Like the font color keeps the feel of the background and keeps the site flowing with a theme
2. The subject, refreshing to see. some interesting stories. I'm a christian my self .
3. Like the transparent frames keepa that same theme/colors going.
4. You tell whats your sites about and what it does right off the bat.(only thing is I might use a picture of text or something as well to make it super noticeable).

Suggestions:
1. You said something about having a lot of pages is there a way to navigate around? I'm not sure if you want people poking around all over your site but if thats something you want I would put a nav bar things somewhere easy.

2. kinda looks like a custom myspace

3. For the "The Future Just Happened | I Spy" the font doesn't go with the theme

4. the text at the bottom you cant read but Its hard to suggest something because a table wouldn't look good. I would say attempt to use white or black if that doesn't work. well umm I can't really think of any simple ways to fix that.

Good Luck hope your site does very well God Bless

oh if anyone wants to point out things I could change on my site or just comments. http://counter-strike-source-ultimate-guide.com
