The only advantage is that their database contains more up to date information about your site. But of course, this is negligible if you haven't changed anything since the last crawl.
Even if you have changed something since the last crawl, what difference does it make whether a changed page is indexed today or 1 week from now? In most cases I would guess that the advantage you get from your new content being indexed 1 week earlier is minimal. I suppose if your new content leads to you accruing revenue at $1000 / week, then you would 'lose' $1000 for that week the content wasn't indexed.
I think for most people, more frequent crawling won't help and in some cases it might be a disadvantage if the spiders are taking up masses of bandwidth (that you have to pay for).
