Following the PageRank hysteria, I decided to firstly check out my own site (well I haven't had a PR before and wondered if something had actually changed) and then check out a few other sites to see if they had changed.

To my astonishment, freewebs.com has a N/A in the toolbar! Maybe they've been selling links or something or they've done some blackhat SEO, but before I'm sure they had a high PR (6 or 7 or something) and now their main site isn't even in the results!

Anyone know why?

I dont know why but I'm curious to know as a number of inner pages on some sites I look after have the same effect.

If you've sold any links or done something blackhat, this might be the case. Otherwise, I'm not sure why they would have disappeared from the results.

Here's another big surprise, YouTube dropped from PR8 to PR3. Isn't YouTube now owned by Google?
