I have noticed that some new added threads on some forums are showing up as quick as the next day in google. I did a test with my own forum to see whether it was showing up in google too, but untill now (more than a week)there isn't a single sign of the thread that I had posted.

Does anyone know how it works, why some threads show up immediately in google and other threads not? I really love to learn what could be a possible cause for this?

Thanx

Marc

Lots and lots of quality, natural links pointing to the pages, and googlebot visiting all day, every day.

ahhm, that would be it. I am also wondering how certain threads appear in SERPs and how they do it.

In my experience, I search for something in Google, then this forum thread appears which only contain the post of the thread starter.

that would be because that's all there was at the time it was crawled and indexed.

I think that this depends on forum you have posted new thread.
I think that there might be forums which won't be shown in google for months.

Well.....it depends on the quality and popularity etc. of the forum on which you have posted a thread.

If you hav posted a new thread on new forum that has not enough active members or not have enough traffic then it may hard to show up quickly in google.

And if you have posted a thread among popular forums have lot of active members or have large amount of daily traffic then it may have greater chances to show up as quick as the next day in google.

And it also depends on your thread wheather it is interest or not, it is attracting user to view or not.

Nope, members or traffic will make no difference at all to the rate of crawl.

Nope.

Did you actually read the thread?
