Here is what I think I know.
A blog is a page upon which authorized? people can post to anytime from anywhere. It is written somewhere, that a webmaster can use blogs to increase the PR of a site.


Heres a bunch of questions:
Does the blog page go on my site?
Do I need some script to support it?
Do I post to it, and if so, what?
Do I care if anyone else posts to it?
Does a link into the blog go somewhere on my site?

Maybe you can post a link to an explination. I cannot find one.
Or just ignore the questions and please tell me how it works. If thats too much typing, PM me with your phone # and I will call.

Your definition was correct, and the answer to that one is Yes it can or it can go anywhere else you like. To increase PR it may be better to be somewhere else (i.e. a different domain), I'm not a PR expert

Yes you post to it, whatever you like, anything interesting....stuff about Precision Dip Molding & Plastic Coating people can never know enough about that

That is up to you as well. Think of it as a very easy to update and manage online diary/journal. Take a look at mine, the link is below. It can be whatever you want. The easiest "start" is probably at www.blogger.com, you can become a blogger in about 4 clicks. The "hard" part just like anything on the net is getting readers/visitors.
