Geotarget worth the bother? is it worth the bother to use the geotarget feature in the google webmaster tools? my site was not set to any there is two options not geotarget and geotargeted none of these where picked it was at a default mode.

probably not, it will only affect ONE search engine. Much better to use your own site pages to geotarget so ALL search engines get the same options.

I dont know if it will make any difference. My understanding is that Google already attempts to target geogrphically based on the tld, so a .uk domain will be targeted towards the UK, .ie for Ireland, and so on. If this is correct then what happens to .com, .org, and so on, or even the European .eu?
