I have a wordpress blog which tends to draw some traffic in Google Images...My impressions on Adsense dont add up and impressions on other ads not add up and i have read this is all cause of the people viewing images in Google Images...

If i remember correctly i read somewhere that there is something you can do to stop where...Where the pictures will sill show up as thumbnails in Google Images but when the person clicks on the thumbnail the page will load for a second and then automatically load the actually website not in a frame. Am i correct about this or pulling out of my a*s?

And if this is possible is it good to do this or is it bad in your opinion...Any info will help a lot, thank you for reading.

You can use a javascript "frame breaker" solution.

I wouldn't do it, though. I've seen results from Google Images use frame breaker scripts, but I would guess they don't stay in GI search very long. I wrote a frame breaker script for my own site that lets Google do its thing. ( Code ) They send me enough traffic to want to stay on their good graces.

I can't think of a good example of someone actually being 'punished' for this ... but my gut tells me not to risk it.

I'm not sure if Google would pick up on it (not for a while anyway), but users certainly find it annoying. I know I do.

I'm noticing quite a bit of similar behavior, 2 FN LOW...in particular, I have an image of something (or someone) ugly that keeps getting found in Google Image Search under "ugly people". It's a stock image I took from sxc.hu, but the thing just keeps generating more and more traffic.

I haven't decided how I'm going to handle this issue yet myself, but I'm inclined to lean toward what Forrest said and let it go.

Is it this one by any chance? Page 3 of Google images is fairly good!

Blocking the frame certainly isn't something good to do in my opinion. Redirects etc. just put me off sites and removing the Google Image frame is just annoying. I simply recommend you don't do it - unless you have a very good reason, such as protecting the copyright on your own work or something.
