very often i read on linkbuilding issues:

Link page must have a recent Google & Yahoo cache.

2 questions on that subject:

- how can i verify if a page/site has been recently cached
- why is it important that it has been done RECENTLY?

If it's a link page, then presumably you're wasting your time with link exchange...in which case, it's not.

Good old link builders. Sooooooooo clueless.

link beggars have this quaint idea that if a page is cached it must be of more "value" than one that isn't. They're wrong of course.
