I decided to write this thread because some so called CEO went to my directory and come back saying he will never list his site with my directory because my health category have to many Pharmacies and Viagra sites. and Google don't like sites that has Pharmacies and Viagra sites listed.......... What part of this world these people does come from?

If you do a search at Google site right now for the keyword Viagra.....you will see at the right of the search page....saying sponsor links.....with the keywords saying Cheap Viagra, men health,Top Sex Pills,& cialis.

Who put these keywords in Google sponsor links? Yes it was Google. Do you know why? Because the advertiser paid for the sponsor spot.

So how come its bad for me to have Pharmacies and Viagra site listed in my directory? And its good for Google! ( HE WHO CONTROLS INFORMATION WILL ALWAYS CONTROL THE PEOPLE.)

My friends it does not matter how many back links our sites have....... back links does not bring customers to our sites.........Do you know what back links bring? Back links brings Page Rank. Do you want Page Rank or customers?

This is what you can do to improve your site popularity with the internet shoppers.

Invest $15.00 a week to place an ad in your local news papers....go to your local post office and buy your local area addresses of all the people in your area and then mail out your business and website address to every one of them.

You can then go to an online new paper like the bargain news. and for $35.00 you can advertise your site for fifteen days.

Now this kind of advertisement will bring a lot of people to your site

I have absolutely no idea what your point is. You went from Google submission to Viagra to buying a junk mail list in about 5.2 seconds.

I wouldn't list my site in a directory full of Viagra, either. My blog is about a lot of things, but abusing grandmothers isn't one of them.

You're right that you want customers, not Page Rank, if you're selling anything. On that note, you want potential customers to hold you in high regard. When they see you listed in places with nothing but Valium, Vicotin, and Viagra, what are they going to think your site is about?

Wow... I must tell you this thread will definitely put WT in #1 spot G. keyword searches for Viagra and pharmacies.

Shall we play this game and in the process pees off current #1 spot holder and make WT Google's leader in pharmaceutical products?

Point well taken.........But what i am saying is how come Google can have these sites listed in there Ad word PPC programmer and as soon as a small directory list the same sites it's bad.

You know what the call that?....It's called do as i say and not is i do.

I am sorry you have no idea of what i am saying......Go to Google directory and do a search for the same keywords and look at the search results.

I think you're missing some key factors here, Curtis:

1) Adwords isn't operated by the same people who deal with the search engine side of things. I've been bugging for a while to have some of the spam-fighting code ported over, but it hasn't happened yet. What passes as okay in Adwords doesn't always pass as okay in big G itself.

2) There's nothing inherently wrong with Viagra/pharmaceutical sites in and of themselves. The problem is that the industry has become a dirty industry, full of get-rich-quick scammers preying on people with low self-esteem. Sounds like you've stumbled upon some of the crappy ones (not that it's hard.)

3) Adwords doesn't influence SERPs. They're mutually exclusive. So...whoever comes up with the dough can have whatever they want for an ad.

4) Google has traditionally had a problem with Adwords and advertisers in the past. The infamous "bid for Black People on eBay" comes to mind, as does an Italian-Canadian Mafia ad I saw recently.

In the case of the CEO, I don't blame him. The reason goes beyond just SEO...I wouldn't want my site listed among a bunch of the buy-viagra-cheap-now.com and all-women-love-a-big-johnson.org sites, either.

You have some great wisdom about the internet.....I like how you explain it to me without trying to curse me out indirectly.....And by the way i only have sex pharmacies sites listed in my directory .........i will love to list some of the Big ..V.. so in twenty years from now when i need it i will not have any problem to get some
