Hello all

I recently submitted a sitemap to google it went through the sitemap and about 24 hours later gave me the report

HTTP errors 0
not found 97
URLs not followed 0
URLs restricted 0

etc etc all the rest 0 errors


now it tells me the 97 links it says aren't found but when i click on them they are a okay save about 5 of them.

So what the hell is the problem here ?

it has been tested and has no errors

I spot checked and didn't see any 404s.

FYI, I've seen a number of 404 errors show up in my blog, that worked when I clicked them. It took a while for it to make sense, but if I used a different browser - one that didn't have a cookie from me logging in - it rendered a 404. That's not what's going on in your case, since pages render for me.

I have seen this many times recently with some sites that I have worked on - I bet you if you check the google webmaster tools today and resubmit, that everything will be fine.

In other words don't go changing a whole lot of stuff - just be patient today.
