No...I'm saying it starts today and ends five days ago. Therefore, we're at the beginning of the PR update, not the end.

OK, that makes sense then. If the update ends 5 days ago, it gives everyone that extra time they need to check out what effect PR had on their SEO Rankings.

I had changes on my site for just one night... went to bed with PR4 - woke up with PR5 on my homepage

It seems to me that Google will update PR approximately once every three months.
