Hi there! My website was thrown away from Google index. Now it's back, but the positions are not even in top 50, despite it has unique content, paid links are removed, and it is indexed very quickly. Is there any way to know why it was penalized? How can I contact somebody in Google and know what is the reason?

I also want to contact Google because the PR of my websites were dropped from PR5 to PR0 after I added about 200 pages of video tutorials to my websites one year ago.

Will Google penalize websites using video as main contents?

Toolbar PR dropping doesn't necessarily mean a penalty

assuming 2nd site in signature 200+ pages indexed, 90% + are flash files which search engines can't crawl so don't pass PR value around the site.

I think that it would be time wasting. I believe they are bing receiving a lot of different kind requests everyday..

I can't help but mention how this thread is a perfect demonstration of why building a business around search traffic is a bad idea.

Google/Yahoo/MSN/Ask/and all the other search engines don't care about your business. They care about their own business. They will keep changing things for their own reasons. Depending on them for your business leaves you at the whim of a tweak in an algorithm.

I don't think google may find time to answer your questions.. You know to yourself if you violate their rules or not and that act put you into trouble. next time, don't put paid links and such.. it would definitely hurt your site... just my thought though..

Either contact Google, try to improve your rankings for search engine. Make strategy that How to promote website, analyze and remove the loose point of the website according to the seo point of view. Increase your one way links by posting in social bookmarking, article directories, forums, blogs/feed submission.

Google is extremely hard to get a hold of. They probably have bigger fish to fry then to deal with little guys like us.

The only thing I have able to do is to read their TOS posted online. Other than that, there is nothing.

Yeah I would try to ask Matt Cutts and hopes he'll find the time and inclination to answer your concerns. Google probably receives thousands of emails a day and your concern would get buried.
