Sigh, how do I get listed with google at all?! I'm no where in top 20 pages. I know there are a LOT of web design sites out there, my question is how do I get in front of them on google? Any tips would help.

Is your keyword simply "web design"? I imagine there is a TON of competition for that. Why not target something more specific, like "web design yourlocation", or some other relevant.

Other than that, more links with good anchor text.
