Is there such as service as "results based SEO". i.e. Payment due ONLY when a goal has been met (eg I will pay $100 if you can get my site in the top (#1) spot on google for the search term GREEN LASER POINTER)

Can anyone here offer such a service as that? I sell extreme green laser pointers (website: http://dotlaser.com coming soon) and I need some pagerank!

I offer results based seo, but you would still have to pay for on-page optimization of html content, etc... ($200 non-refundable) and you would have to pay a base monthly fee of $300. We also would charge a bonus for achieving top 5 ranking ($150/month). That would make your total package when we achieve top 5 ranking $450.

Search engine optimization is not cheap and nobody is going to commit their resources and valuable time with no money upfront.

You can expect a turnaround time of at least 3-4 months for your site to reach top 10 status.

As with any service in this world, you get what you pay for. If you try and higher someone for peanuts, or someone who offers to optimize your site for a one-time fee, you will end up getting burned.

2 years i've been doin professional SEO - and i now have a wealth of top 5 rankings under my belt

i get paid monthly by the company i work for, and it averages $300/month/site.

results based SEO would mean i wasn't getting paid for 3 / 4 months on a new site until i hit top 10. then i'd have to charge like $1200 just to make up the money lost while waiting for top 10. a figure like that just puts of clients.

you get what you pay for. if someone guarantees you top 10 in 6 months, take them on, if they don't manage it, demand a refund.

don't expect to pay when you get top 10, you have to put the effort in beforehand
