My BL has gone up but its only from my own websites pages and other sites who were already linking to me.

I have made 50 link trades since the last update (some of these on PR5 pages) and not one of them are showing up yet. (although a few of them are starting to appear on MSN)

Any idea if google is discriminating against links on link pages or if if the is going to be another update?

Google only shows a sample of your backlinks and they are usually behind date.

For example, if you added 50 backlinks to your site in August, they won't appear in August update but rather the Septemeber update.
