We get more hits on every other search engine, even dogpile.

Any ideas why google isn't listing our site higher? Well, we are 1 for romantic singles, but that doesn't help much.

Your target search term "romantic singles" is no good. People search for that term only 1 or 2 times per day.

You need to research search terms relating to your site that generate more traffic.

What makes "Romantic Singles" the target search term.

I want it to be either "online dating" or "free personals".

How do you change that?

Well romantic singles comes up cause thats the name of your site. You are more likely to get hits for terms that appear in your url. Soe having online dating or free personals in the domain name would probably increase some of those hits. Not that that is my suggestion, but I feel it may explain the romatic singles hits you get.
