Hello guys,

My page http://www.americanscrapmetal.com was top 5 on google for the past 4 years for the search term "Scrap metal recycling". Then since last Dec-Jan my page completely dropped off.
I checked to see if my site was blacklisted for whatever reason and found out it aint. I have many links hi-mid & lower quality that point to my site. I have a page rank 5 & I have redesigned my site because I tought it would help and still nothing. My site is based at Angelfire.com and thats realy all the information I have for you guys.

Is anyone kind enough to help me or point me in the right direction?

Also is there a certain kind of css, xhtml or so on that is better for google? Any tricks?

1,2,3 result etc.

It could do with your competition. Check the top 5 sites for your keyword and check out there HTML. They might possibly have more links then you.

What has their "HTML" got to do with it?

check your backlinks, hows the serp is it still the same?

Sometimes when you change layout or manu links on homepage, you may see drops in positions in Google. Your sitemap should contain links to all pages you have in your site, of course those pages you want to be seen by visitors, and therefore indexed by SEs. Your HTML has 32 errors, but that is not a reason for drop... Check for broken links, check sites you are linking to...But main issue is do you see drop in traffic, clients or whatever that's your goal with the site. If not, then just continue with giving visitors what they need and lead them through your site in the way that would be natural for them but also for your goal.....Google will follow that, I am sure

It's interesting that your drop off seems to coincide with a google update

I think your web is belong google blacklist.now you only re build your website and add more pr4 or pr5 website's back link.it maybe is useful,but I can't confirm.we are only waiting.else you use new domain.
