Many webmasters believe that the website that was listed on position 61 with the Sitelinks was the number 1 result for that keyword but had been penalized by Google.Google hasn't officially confirmed that a -60 penalty exists. However, Google employee John Mu indicated in a discussion about the -60 penalty in the official Google groups that Google penalizes websites if they contain certain spam elements.

The head of Google's anti-spam team Matt Cutts has often said that websites that buy paid links will be penalized and it looks as if Google tries to do the job properly.

ya i have read about Google's 60 penalty from somewhere,I have taken the content from there to inform other's seo who dunt know about this latest update.May be you know about that but it doesn't mean that all people's or seo's know about this thing.

I am not spammer ok.I believe that if I know something then I have to share that information with everyone.you know what does Forums mean?? It means that share your opinion,ideas and information you have understand.......

English must not be your first language.

Nobody said that sharing wasn't allowed. The important thing is to remember that CREDITING the original source is crucial. That means link to where you're getting the information from. We know for a fact that you didn't discover the Google -60 Penalty, so posting your information without attribution looks silly.

It would seem that the widespread implementation of the minus 60 penalty has been beefed up.

It really concerns sites selling links so not really a worry for most webmasters
