I have hundreds of pages indexed on google, yet i dont get a single hit from them. Do new sites get in quarantine or something before pages start appearing in search results or nobody is searching for my keywords?

Mate, you need thousands of pages indexed on Google.
Secondly, it depends on keywords. Who competitive are they and how well are you doing your link building campaign.

Also it takes time to achieve all those. SO be patient.

New sites really need some time to get their traffic from google. How old is your site?
