What is the benefit in having Google, or any search engine, keep a cache of my webpages? Does it, somehow, send more traffic to my website?

I am thinking of:

or, at least:

< META NAME = "GOOGLE" CONTENT = "NOARCHIVE" >

No, it dont. Traffic really came from on how visible your website is and how you promote your website.
