three days ago I got a video game site up on the internt (http://www.webnweb.com/vgames) and i'm already on the the first page for a few key things for my site (1st page for nintendo ds faq, psp vs ds, psp game list, ds game list, and more). The reason I got up high was my old site www.webnweb.com/vgame has been on google for three years so bots go to my site alot.

Now I'm going to be getting www.vgescape.com and webspace for it. My friend told me that he read something in a forum like this that redirecting sites will make google like not have the pages be as high as they are. Is this true? I really want to use vgescape.com, but I don't want to lose a lot of potential visitors.

Do a 301 redirect and you will be fine.
