Hi all,
I'm a first time poster, long time reader.
I'm having a slight problem with Google Analytics. I first signed up for analytics half a year ago. After I implemented urchin.js, I didn't regularly check my analytics page until I figured I had a good data set to see how my site was doing. I logged back in a few days ago, and noticed that for the past 5 months, no data was recorded. So I found out that I had to upgrade from urchin.js to ga.js. I poked around online and saw several articles that stated that urchin and ga both send traffic information to Google - so it's the same backend database I'm assuming. I also know that I had implemented urchin perfectly because I have data for the first month that I had it up.
If this is the case, shouldn't the past 5 months worth of data show up after I upgraded to ga? I know ga.js is working perfectly because I can see data since upgrading. Otherwise, am I to assume I won't be getting data for the past 5 months?
Thanks,
Nelson
