What is the best technique for indexing a new site in google?

Google picks up new sites by itself, nothing needed to be done. But in many cases they take lot of time. You can submit to high traffic social networking sites. Since those sites are crawled frequently, your site supposed to get crawled and index faster; if found there.

Wanna get indexed fast? Build backlinks to the web site\pages your trying to get indexed, works perfect for me every time. Don't forget to create and submit an XML sitemap as well, it doesn't make it go any faster but will help web crawlers locate all your web pages at one source.

get pages that are already indexed to like to you. Higher PR pages will get crawled more frequently so by getting your link on a page with good pr can make you get indexed quickly.

I just built a hosting site, and its been a total of 32 hours and im already in it lol,
All I did was use backlinks, and good meta's. thats all I ever use pretty much and it seems top work fine

Submit your site in respected Social Bookmarking sites.

i always follow a method to get index fast in search engines and always get successful. First submit a sitemap in xml format in google webmaster as many member said earlier. Create robots.txt file and place ur sitemap address there.

Then submit your site to digg & propeller these are social bookmarking sites. And i always put signatures of new sites in forums those i use.
This is the simple & successful method for me.....................

If website is fine from seo point of view and follows the Google guidelines then it helpful in indexing. For quick indexing Google sitemap and placement of link on high traffic websites also beneficial.

Get some links to the site and on internal pages.....having a sitemap on your site if it has many sub-pages..get free incoming links form trusted sites and top rated one..submit your url on G..advertise and post on classified ads..like craigslist..start a blog as a extension of your site and join niche related forums..and joining in webmaster forums..

I think the best way to get indexed fast by Google search engine is to build quality link with high PR.

Try to get a link on a site that gets crawled often.

Links from directories, blogs, forums, social bookmarking sites, etc. will help your site get indexed faster. Submitting a sitemap would also facilitate the process of indexing the inner pages.

Get quality links not broken link.

Post your signature on "do follow" forums, linkbacks from popular blogs, submit a story to your digg account, submit an article to ezine and the list goes on. It's pretty easy to get submitted but the real work begins once your first page shows up in the index. Now that is for another time Happy google indexing
