I was told this new rule for not being punished in Google by a SEO Expert. I know he was an expert, because he told me he was. He also said he's ethical, so that means he can't lie to me.

You have to write a new article every 15 minutes so Google will know your site is fresh. If 20 minutes go by and your content is stale, you'll get that penalty on Squidoo where they push you back 666 pages and no one ever sees you in the SERPS again.

Lots of reasons this is happening. Relevance lives in the fresh updated content. Google wants good content, and they filter out SEOs. This Expert told me they know if you're so busy writing content, #1 it has to be good, but #2 also you don't have time to build links. And then Google gives you it's "not a SEO" advantage in the SERPS.

He also said by the time you've got 96 articles, you'll start using a lot of keywords you never would have thought before, so you're doing even better in the SERPS Popularity!

Isn't this a great trick? All you have to do is publish an article every 15 minutes, and then you'll have so many millions of dollars coming in, you won't even have time to to "optimize" social bookmarks.

Noone can create articles every 15 minutes. You must have an army to create original articles like that.

For the some peoples who seemed to take what John wrote seriously, learn that 99.998% of what you ever heard about "seo", "SERPS Popularity" and "ranking" are just scam thrown by ignare peoples trying to sell themselves as specialist of their field (who said "consultants"!??)

Wait...are you telling me that he wasn't being serious? I have been up for almost 48 hours straight writing articles because i thought i couldn't go longer than 20 minutes without writing one or i would loose my rankings.....aaawwww man. lol

It would be nice though to crank out like 50 articles in a day or two all with quality backlinks. Just get a couple months worth of article writing work done in two days.

It's easy, really. I'll just make an article rewriter that simply replaces the adjectives.

Hmm, easy but not exactly cheap.

Most of the quality rewriters out there come at a premium price.

I've seen some good software making use of Markov, but it's far too intricate and time consuming for me to develop one myself.

The cheap rewriters are generally quite hideous with their translations. And if you really want to escape the Google duplicate content flags, you have to mix things up a little more than just word for word replacements.

Still, if you know of a good cheap rewriter that doesn't output like an illiterate 6 year old joker typist of the sub continent - I'm all ears!

It was more a joke than anything else. I've seen some rewriting software, but like you said, they don't work very well to write human friendly articles. At this point, I'm not too convinced that computers are going to be able to replace human writers anytime soon. Even translation software is still horrible.

It's worth looking in to Markov chains, which seems to be the best solution for readibility - but it's not a bedroom coder's script by any stretch of the imagination.

I am yet to find an article spinner that actually works. I've kind of gotten the knack of spinning articles myself anyway. Would be nice to see one that does work though.

If you ask any self-respecting writer to make new articles every 15 minutes, they'd look at you and then blink a few times until they walk away. Even though it is possible, in that kind of set-up, something has to give.

Most of the time it's quality.

Interesting post. But it's hard to do that IMO...

Writing and publishing a new article every 15 minutes is near impossible unless you own a newspaper and have a team of writers.

If you publish something and make it sound plausible enough there is ALWAYS some fools around who will believe it!!!

(1) If somebody tells you a SEO secret, it might be true. And it might not be true.
(2) Hard and fast rules, like you have to write a new article every 15 minutes, usually aren't true. They're too simple.

I've never heard such SEO methods in my 5 years of SEO. None can do it - again even if you hire some one - you'll be a begger paying them money to write such amount of articles.

Just write article naturally - I try to publish 1 post per day if it is on SEO as I need extra time to think. On some other subjects, like cricket, I may publish 2/3 posts.

The real rule is that you actually have to write 1000 word articles every 5 minutes and 37 seconds. The reason why that's true is because it isn't too simple.

I think you may have missed the point of the original post and then not read the rest of the thread. It was written tongue-in-cheek to point out the willingness of some people to follow whatever people tell them, no matter if that person is qualified or not or if their advice even makes sense, all in the hope of getting their spam blogs to the top of SERPs for high paying AdSense keywords.
