Digg can earn more than that.I guess Google wants to extend their family with big sites like google and previous sites that they acquired.

Just my personal opinion, I don't think Digg worth $200M at all. Possibly around $50M max. Looks like MS and Google both fighting for it raised the price quite a bit.

I just cant imagine how powerful will DIGG be when it gain by Google!

Have you ever seen the Celebrity Jeopardy skits by SNL? Sometimes the parts of this forum related to SEO and search engines feel a little bit like that.

I'll take "therapist" for $400. (I went with the censored version although I would rather listed what good ole Connery went with). The grammar is a little rough too. I think people mainly just want to get some posts under their belt but now I am going to look like that person. So I better put in my two cents worth. The Digg site would have been a good purchase for the information behind it; I do not believe Google would have dressed it up with advertisements to "recover their money". However, I do not believe the perceived value was really worth the $200 million so it was smart for Google to walk away. I'm sure if Google came knocking on my door the price would magically go up because I would rather be on the beach somewhere never having to care about money than in an office all day.
